DESIGN OF INDUSTRIAL EXHAUST SYSTEMS USING A PROGRAMMABLE CALCULATOR
Industrial Hygiene Unit, Catholic University of Louvain Clos Chapelle-aux-Champs, 3038, 1200 Brussels, Belgium
A simple-to-use program is presented that makes possible the computation of industrial exhaust system networks using a small Hewlett Packard 97 calculator. The program follows the procedure presented in the A.C.G.I.H. Industrial Ventilation Manual. It includes balancing procedures at junctions and correction for velocity changes. It can be adapted to other pocket size calculators or other data bases.
